We found this turtle in our neighborhood pool last summer, while the girls were taking swimming lessons.
We made a home for her
and enjoyed watching her.
But recently decided
she would be happier making new friends
in a wide open space,
with plenty of room
to stretch
and sun.

Steve found a boxed turtle this morning playing frisbee golf and brought it home. You want a new one? It's real sweet. :)

Tuck looked like he was loving his new home. How are the girls doing? Little Buddy gets very emotional about animals and is just now learning the importance of letting them live where they would naturally. We've been having a long discussion about the ducks and taking them to the lake.
