All Grown Up

I remember the first time I met him.
He was so frail I thought he'd break, when I hugged him.  That's what years of malnourishment does to a child.
He had the kindest, gentlest eyes........still does.

Blending a family can be tough.  I began as a sister he seldom saw, living hours away.  Soon enough a move brought us closer together and we became a family and then in the blink of an eye she was gone and he was our's.

We didn't do everything right, by any means.  But I watch him now, as a young adult, and I know he's got the important stuff down.
He's funny.
He's passionate about staying on God's path.
He knows the importance of family.
He's incredibly kind.....will do anything for anybody.

And he will make an amazing husband and father one day.

Sometimes love grown in the heart and not always the belly is the most important life changing moments. He knows where he is loved... you my dear simply gave him the wings to fly with it..
